Equal Opportunities

Technology Resourcing is firmly committed to being an equal opportunities employer because we believe that everyone should be allowed to make the best use of their skills and experience.

Our policy aims to ensure that all of our employees, job applicants and contractors are treated equally irrespective of disability, race, colour, religion, nationality, ethnic origin, age, sexual orientation or marital status.

Selection criteria and procedures are frequently monitored to ensure that individuals are selected, promoted and treated only on the basis of their relevant merits and abilities. All staff are given equal opportunity and, where appropriate, training to progress within the organisation. We are committed to a programme of action to make this policy fully effective as set out in the relevant Codes of Practice of the Commission for Racial Equality and Equal Opportunities Commission, as well as any relevant codes of practice on Disability. We also observe the guidance in respect of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act.

  • The Company shall appoint, train, develop and promote on the basis of merit and ability.

  • Employees have personal responsibility for the practical application of the Company’s Equal Opportunities Policy, which extends to the treatment of members of the public and employees.

  • Managers and supervisors who are involved in the recruitment, selection, promotion and training of employees have a special responsibility for the practical application of the Company’s Equal Opportunity Policy.

  • The Grievance Procedure is available to any employee who believes that he or she may have been unfairly discriminated against.

  • Disciplinary action under the Disciplinary Procedure shall be taken against any employee who is found to have committed an act of unlawful discrimination. Discriminatory conduct and sexual or racial harassment shall be regarded as gross misconduct.
